How Is The Church Relevant For Dad and Mom?

Dad – God has designed husbands/fathers to be the spiritual leader of the home.  Even so, the practical ability is learned by watching their fathers, studying Scripture, and participating in church life.  Fathers set the direction and tone in the family and establish a loving and tender environment for instruction.  They are to be godly examples of a follower of Jesus Christ, leading their wives and teaching their children how to follow Christ and be faithful to the Word of God.
Mom – God has uniquely designed women for a role different than men.  Regardless of her stage in life, the management of the home on a daily basis, moment by moment care of family and modeling the beauty of Christ is the joy and call to mothers/wives.  Scripture acknowledges a woman of excellence to be far beyond material wealth (Proverbs 31:10). Becoming such a woman is learned through the observance of godly influences, a consistent week by week exposure to preaching, and other aspects of church life (i.e., fellowship, discipleship, serving others).
