“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Christ Bible Church has a serious commitment to the Word of God. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is not an option and we seek to honor God in obedience.

Service: Dan And Beth Burrus have 4 children. They live in the USA where Dan is an elder at his church. Dan regularly travels to Sierra Leone, and occasionally other places as well, to lead pastor training classes for local pastors. He works with Equipping Leaders International.

Service: Steve and Barbara Shertzer live and work at Camp Victory in lower Alabama. They lead the “released time” Bible classes for public school students from their mobile Bible classroom. Steve teaches campers and helps with camp maintenance. Barbara grew up going to church at CBC with her parents “Bud” and Gene Davis, (when it was still called Baptist Bible Church.) Cranberry, Pennsylvania.

Service: Larry and Nancy Allen (retired but active with ABWE) serve the international community in Hatfield, PA through practical helps, looking for opportunities to share the Gospel. They have 6 adult children living around the world in various places.

Service: Gary and Penny Whipple are transitioning to retirement from EBI, a Spanish theology book publishing company. They live and work in Sebring, Florida but previously were church planters in Peru for over 30 years with Baptist Mid Mission.
